You are wrong Donald

Donald, you are wrong. Yes you are Donald Trump, a rich man, a businessman, but all your billions cannot buy you many things like tolerance, education, manners, and knowledge. Let me tell you something. You are wrong about Mexico and about Mexicans. And let me ask you something: when you talk about Mexicans are you talking about all Latinos who speak Spanish?


Let me explain you some reality points that you and many more like you ignore or are not willing to accept. First, Mexico is not sending undocumented people to the United States. Get your facts right. American corporations are the ones who are bringing Mexicans, many of them undocumented, to work here. Although many people prefer to believe that people in Mexico lack of free willing, let me tell you that people in Mexico are free to go to wherever they want. And based on this, I can tell you that Mexicans that come to the United States come because they decided to do so. Not because the Mexican government send them. They want jobs and they don’t find them in Mexico. U.S. corporations advertise jobs for them and they come here to work. U.S corporations are looking for cheap labor, and that’s why they bring undocumented immigrants to this nation. Second, Mexicans are not drug users. At least not all Mexicans as you implied. According with the 2013 results of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services National Survey of Drug Use and Health (http://goo.gl/ryhnh3 ), “the rate of current illicit drug use was [in 2013] 3.1 percent among Asians, 8.8 percent among Hispanics, 9.5 percent among whites, 10.5 percent among blacks, 12.3 percent among American Indians or Alaska Natives, 14.0 percent among Native Hawaiians or Other Pacific Islanders, and 17.4 percent among persons reporting two or more races”. As you can see, more whites use drugs compared to Latinos, not only Mexicans. So your facts are wrong. I have to accept that Mexico has a drug problem, that problem is because people in the United States are demanding the drugs. The drug addicts are here Donald, they are Americans, and they are not Mexicans. Third, you expressed that Mexican are rapist. Again, you are wrong and falling into a bad generalization. According to the 2011 Office of Justice Programs SART toolkit Resources for Sexual Assault Response Teams (http://goo.gl/IZigXx): “Sex offenders are most likely to be white and in their early 30s”. However, again I have to accept that, as in any other ethnic groups including whites, there are some bad apples among Mexicans, but not all Mexicans are delinquents. You see Donald; you have your facts wrong. You ignore many issues and realities about Mexico, Mexicans, and how important we are to the United States.

Let me tell you something. The food you eat probably was picked by Mexicans hands. If you go to a restaurant, probably the people who cook your meal are Mexican. Many of the people who work for you probably are Mexican. You are rich because many Mexicans do the dirty job so you can enjoy your lifestyle. Mexico is the United States second most important trade partner according to statistics from the International Trade Administration, a branch of the U.S. Department of Commerce (http://goo.gl/TxTduH ).

We are not bad people Donald; do not believe what many people believe about us. Don’t believe in stereotypes; remember that your ancestors came here when most of this land was Mexico. Do your homework; educate yourself if you want to be president of this country. Because Mexicans speak English, we understand what you say, and we don’t agree with you. We are mad. And, by the way, we vote, because we are Americans. Donald I have to confess that I am not going to vote for you or for any other politicians who continue to spread stereotypical ideas about Mexicans and for whom I don’t exist. I am Mexican Donald, but I am American, I have a Ph.D., I am vegan. I will not vote for you because you think that people like me don’t exist, and people like you don’t have my vote.
